3D dont

What is it with all of these movie peoples thinking that all movies should be 3D?! What is going on?
So sick of it, lik eit is some big draw card. I think it puts you off watching it, seeing stuff "flying" at you. Wow, so 70's! why is it such a big fricken deal these days??
To: Movies Exec;
Stop, no more. get over yourselves.
We pay $16 + for a movie ticket, dont need to wear stupid glasses and see stuff slightly blurry just so we can pretend we are about to be hit by something. Will just ask the person next to me to throw popcorn at me if I feel the need.

Just lost my cat....., and found her again.

The cat was supposed to be out in the backyard. She gets dinner at 6.30, but she can start meowing for it any time from 5.30 onwards! Approaching 6.30, I thought it odd that she was not at the back door demanding her dinner. Go to the door, and open it. Normally she comes running. Nothing. Open the door and call her name. Nothing, step outside, still calling her name, and walk around the small courtyard. She is not there. Panic and Anger. She snuck under the side fence last week, walked down the ally and to the front of the unit. Found her in the front yard. She knew she was in trouble, and got inside quick smart. So this time, check out the ally way. Nothing. Check the front carport. Nothing. Looked through the front bushes. Nothing. Panic! Looked for the next 15mins. Nothing. Went inside to check at the back door. Nothing. Out again and down the driveway to the road. Nothing. Ask the neighbours. Nothing. Back up to the other units. Nothing. Went inside again, to the back door, and there she is. She waltzes in with a look on her face as if to say "Where have you been, it's dinner time!"
Gave her a big hug, and fed her dinner!

thinking

Don't you hate it when something gets into your head, and that is all you think about. Something got into my brain on Thursday and Friday, and all weekend, that is what I have thought of.
Its something good, but sad as well.
Stupid brain, turn off, think of something else.
Bloody DIPI principle. It's not dangerous, a bit interesting and important, but extremely pleasurable, which explains why it is stuck in my conscious.
Oh well.

DIPI

Dangerous, Important, Pleasurable, Interesting.
Learnt this at ZIP training. Our brains focus on 7 units of info at a time out of the 1890 that may be thrown at us and the RAS sorts these into things that may be of danger to us, then things that are important, pleasurable and interesting. These things go to our conscious to focus on, and the rest of the info goes to our subconscious.
So it is always a good idea to focus on the task at hand, and what is around you or you are running on your subconscious and may injure yourself and others. Today I applied my focus to everything I did, especially ddriving. I am always aware of what is around me, have very good vision on that, but I think a lot of it goes to subconscious, as I don't focus on potential dangers.
Do it and live through the day!!

Best course ever!

ZIP training is the best course I have ever been on. Two days of learning about safety doesn't sound exciting, but it's is not just learning about safety. It is applying safety principles to everyday life. Learning how your brain works. Learn to train your brain and work and live in a more positive way. And it is interactive! Nothing is worse than being in a course where you sit all day, and someone talks to you. They tell you. They read off powerpoint presentations. YAWN!
ZIP trianing by Sentis was AWESOME. They taught us about safety, and being safe, and why that is important. We identified reasons why we should think about our actions, as it impacts on the things we love.
This course brought together workmates that didn't even know each other before. A mix of linies, IT, admin staff, engineers, it was awesome to see us all working together to solve a problem!
The real challenge now comes as we apply the new things we learnt to our life and to work.

Good friends

You know a good friend that understands you. If you are in a crappy mood, they know to just leave you alone and you will come out of it, and when you want to talk, they will be there.

Feeling crappy

At a great course today. ZIP training. Highly recommend it. Had a game we were playing. Did a deal with 2 people from the other 2 teams. Said we would vote green so we all won, but we voted red, they voted green, so we screwed them over. It was only a game, fun, but now, thinking about it, I feel really crappy. Gave my word to two honest strangers, then went back on it. Shook hands even. Now am questioning my values and morals. Don't think that was the aim of the game.
Sure it was just a game, but if someone I worked with did that to me, I would be doubtful of trusting them. I pride myself on my honestly and values, but now I feel worthless. I give people the benefit of the doubt, but screw me over, and that's it, you have to do a lot to make up.
I didn't just do it to the two people, but to the rest of their teams. To be fair, my team made the decision to go red. I simply told my team the decision we negotiated outside. Previously the other two teams wanted to gang up on us, so is it fair? Is it justified? Who cares, I feel like crap.

Workout

Love the feeling when you finish a great workout, sweated it out, your skin feels great. Then hate that feeling when you can't walk the next day!! Feet are killing me!

Things people do that piss me off!

Right at the moment my neighbour is playing some kind of computer game. TOO LOUD MATE!
Oooh, ooh, he just killed some one else!
I shouldn't have to hear this.
Imagine how deaf he must be to need the sound that loud.
Thinking of putting on Kylie and cranking it up loud, just to retalliate!
